The Landing Page Formula That Gets Roofers More Inspection Requests

Roofers don't need a bigger site. They need one landing page built to book inspections. Here's the exact formula that outperforms the pretty homepages.

The Landing Page Formula That Gets Roofers More Inspection Requests

Roofing is one of the most competitive local search categories there is. And yet almost every roofer sends their paid traffic to the same place: the homepage. That's a formula for a 1% conversion rate. Here's what actually works — a single landing page built for one job: booking free inspections.

The formula, section by section

1. Above-the-fold: one promise, one action

"Free 15-minute roof inspection in [City] — same-week booking, no obligation." Big headline, one CTA, tap-to-call number, and a five-star average with review count. Nothing else on screen one.

2. Storm and damage triggers

"Recent storm? We'll check for hidden damage before it becomes a claim." Roofing demand spikes after weather. Name the trigger the visitor is feeling — leaks, missing shingles, insurance letter — right in the copy.

3. Real before/after photos

Not stock. Not renders. Photos from your last five jobs, ideally with the neighborhood named. This is the highest-converting section on any roofing page, every time.

4. Insurance walkthrough

"Worried about the insurance process? We handle the paperwork." Most homeowners fear the claim more than the roof itself. Removing that fear books more inspections than any discount.

5. Named local proof

Three reviews with first name, neighborhood, and the specific roof type or issue. "Mark, De Pijp — full re-roof after hail damage" beats ten anonymous five-star quotes.

6. The booking form — three fields only

Name, phone, address. That's it. Every extra field costs bookings. Email is optional. "Best time to call" is a nice-to-have, not a gate.

7. Repeat CTA + fallback phone

Some people book, some people dial. Give both an equal-weight option at the bottom of the page.

"A roofing landing page has one job: book the inspection. Every section, image, and word either serves that job or gets cut."

What to leave out

  • Your company history and founding year.
  • A generic services grid with 12 items.
  • Autoplay hero videos that add 4 seconds of load time.
  • A navigation menu with 8 links pulling people off the page.
  • Any CTA that competes with "Book my inspection."

One page. One promise. One action. That's the roofing landing page that wins the click and books the job.
